Si or EX Coupe???
A couple of you have mentioned the shifter, and how you don't have a place to rest your hand.
Well first of all.....you should never rest your hand on the shifter between shifts. It messes up your synchros. Everybody knows this. Secondly...I swear to god it's in the most comfortable position ever. It really is ergonomically correct, and smooth as silk. Matter of fact, now that I'm driving my winter beater, I sometimes reach up for my SiR shifter by accident to find it's not there lol
Me = pwned

I went to the dealer to pick up an oil filter and paused when passing an Si that was in the showroom, just to look at it since I had only seen them on the road. A salesman came up and mentioned they have a good deal going on them due to over-stock... so I asked how much... he said $15,000. It seems like a good deal to me...[hr]

No, in rod linkage transmissions/shifters resting your hand can bend the shifter forks. After years of this they can bend enough for the gear to slip out of place when in drive. it has nothing to do with synchros.

WTF.. I don't think I know anyone or ever have know anyone that drives a manual and doesn't rest their hand on the shifter. I've done it with all my cars and never had a problem. Some people must have some big fat arms or something.
