Buy an older Mustang.

Step 1: Drop a 351W into it
2: P&P
3: Tremec 6-speed
4: AMMX driveshaft & 3.73 POSI
5: Blow it

You're now faster than anything you can do to a Civic for half the price.

There aren't any "go fast" parts for the 7th gen's.

Go buy one of those aftermarket rockets (like the ones for the F-16's or the V2's) and strap that bad boy onto your hood. Then, turn your trunk into a tank for the rocket fuel. Lastly, slap as many stickers on as you can.

I see this thread is going to turn out to be one be laugh at FNG's expense. But unfortunately the FNG is broke, that being the reason for help with cheap go fast parts.

Actually somebody did that to an old Chevy. They won a darwin award. Apparently he drove the rocket-powered car over a cliff and for 1000 feet before the edge, there were skid marks that wore right down to the wheel. Probably the guy changed his mind but it was too late. So he went over the cliff upwards of 500+ miles per hour and a highway patrolman later found a smouldering crater about 3 hills over from the cliff.

I've decided when I die, that's how I wanna go. That or get mauled by a bear. Yeah, that'd be pretty cool too ...

Buy a good cat back exhaust like tanabe a cai like injen or aem ,and a header do a search on this site you'll be thankful. after that I would just wait till people figure out the d17's a little better. and don't worry about people saying our cars are slow because there are a whole bunch of cars I would not trade my civic for and only a hand full I would!

I read an article in a mag a while back and it was all about speed for nothing. They spend $0 and got the car like 2 or 3 seconds faster. All you have to do is remove the doors, glass, seats, all interior, cut off after the back wheels, get rid of everything after the cat, get rid of the hood, fenders, bumper, tape the air filter up past where the hood normally is to get a cold air intake, get smaller wheels/tires in the front, even smaller in the back, cut off the roof, and I think that is it. Cheap go fast stuff.

1. What is FNG?
2. This thread is going nowhere because you asked a stupid question, how can I go really fast without spending money? Come on.....

cheap and actually moves you?

nitrous oxide. a safe 50 shot setup runs for about 500-800 depending on how cheap u can get it, and installed.

nitrous will always be one of the cheapest setup that yields gains.

but realistically, not too many people run nitrous.

other than that, there's no cheap go fast mods, bolt-ons are no where near the hp per dollar ratio as nitrous.

Nitrous is probably the only thing that is going to make a 7th gen go fast. Other than that I think you're out of luck

Ebay has got to be the cheapest place to get your parts. Some will disagree, and they have a right to, because you CAN get ripped off if your not smart. Some people will try to sell you exhausts with cheap *** midsections replaced in place of the good brand they are trying to sell. Some people will sell you used items as new. Some people will try to sell you parts for your car that dont fit, etc, etc, etc. But if your smart, you can save a lot of money on Ebay.

I got an automatic and wanted an AEM intake, so for me, I got my Short Ram for 133 bucks through autocarparts.com. They have really cheap parts.

I got my axle back for 145 bucks off EBay, new, from Powertech, and got a Ractive midsection from driverfx.com. Ractive makes moderately good products for very low prices if you can find them. They seem to be one of the brands right now that make a lot of products for the DX and LX/non-Vtech 7th gens. I havent found one brand that makes a header for a non-vtech other than Ractive.

You just gotta look around. Gather up an assload of auto sites, and go through them looking for the part you need. Just see who sells the part for the cheapest. It never hurts to ask on a message board though.....
