What do you guys think of the R1 and HP coilovers? Im thinkin of gettin rid of my neuspeed race and get either one of the two. If not those, then i'd go for ground control. But again, what do you guys think of the hp and r1 coilovers if the gc wasnt an option??

They suck! Their springs are so stiff....the overall ride quality is beyond horrible. It will feel as if you have no springs...that's how stiff they are.

I'd rather get some Gold Line Springs instead of those crappy coil overs.

R1, HP, DropZone, and generic ebay coilovers

Ground-Control (because they use Eibach springs) Street ride quality is pretty good

Skunk2, however they are stiffer than ground control.... in my opinion they are more for track than street, but it works fine both ways.

Teins / B+G / true coil overs

to tell you the truth theres really nothing wrong w/my neuspeed race. Im gonna go for ground control coilovers cause i wanna be able to adjust the ride height w/out changing springs. Plus my R33 front bumper sits really low w/the race springs.

Sport lower approximately 1.75-1.5 inches

Race lower approximately 2.25-2.0 inches

I've heard mixed reviews about skunk2. If you are going with sleeved coils, definatly get ground control.

B&G and Tein SS own them all though.

Well GC are sleeved coils. Sleeved are usually lame. But if you get sleeved GC is the best of that type.

True coils rock the house. B&G and Tein are the absolute best you could get.

I was just listing the top models in each category.

About the $1000 price difference, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!!!
