I read this guy's post and just couldn't stop laughing. I couldn't even make something like this up.
You gotta read the rest of the thread too, as the laughs just continue. He likes the fast and furious, can tell what mods a car has by looking at it (i/h/e) and he keeps talking about "sucking up" his opponents. WTF?

Ok beside this guy being a moron I found a couple flaws in his story. It says he is from Ottawa Illinois, I am in Chicago and have been to Ottawa(many times, cause I have friends there) and there is nowhere to cruise without getting pulled over. Then he refers to the Loop, the only loop any of us know about is downtown Chicago, there is no loop in Ottawa and if he was cruising in downtown Chicago, that is not the place to look for a race. Just thought I would add my 2cents.

Man I'm impressed that a 3.1 and a 2.4 tops out at 105. I guess civics do suck seeing how our 1.7 EX's are GOVERNED at 127. Man, I hate not having such a large engine (WTF?) I'll stick to my import. I'm not at the shop all week like most domestics and I look pretty good driving it with my girl. Honda+Nissan+Toyota and nothing else!

[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] Here's my two cents.... Let's turn the tables over..... If that guy was running nitrous in his story but doesn't say, he should be ashamed of his kill list of 4 bangers. Why need to spray on a 4 banger, spray on some V8s.
I use to own a 91 integra and frequently raced at the illegals here in Cali. I see no way for this guy to be beating cars without running nitrous. I raced this 98 teal green Grand Am GT Sedan, 5- speed. Upon racing him, I had a pretty good sleeper set-up in my car. Stock intake box with no resonator, K&N drop in filter, exhaust unbolted at the axle, straight pipe, full suspension (tokico 5 way adj., coilovers, camber kits, strut braces), and a ZEX Kit with spark plugs running 55 shot. I raced this guy without even spraying, It was armed but I didn't hit the button just to test him out this first race. Whooped him by a car length, just touching my back bumper. He asked after the race, "What your running?, You spraying huh?". I said Let's race again. This time I hit the button and beat him buy a good two and half car length. After the race, he gave me the thumbs up and I told him, "That last race I sprayed but the first I didn't"
After the race he came up to me and told me, "I'm surprised you beat me, I was acting sorta c**ky thinking I would beat you but you took the cake" and he gave me a handshake. Pretty nice for him to admit. We talked for a bit and he said that "most Civics aren't able to beat me and you being another 4 banger, looking str8 stock, i thought it would have been a piece of cake. There are a few civics that have the (i/h/e) that we have a pretty even race, It just comes down to who's the better driver"
just my two cents.....sorry for the long story.....
