HP Gains and Quartermile times
Hey guys im new here i was recently at a meet in south fl and i was wondering what some of you guys were running at the quarter mile specifically with just basic intake or maybe exhaust 5 speed ex's. What type of gain can be made from these bolt ons. I have a 94 bmw 318is 5 speed with custom intake bosal exhaust and computer chip and i raced a civic ex 5 speed with intake and exhaust and we were even the whole time up till around 90 
so i want to know if either he had more done to his car, i just didnt drive well that round, or hondas do gain miracle hp from boltons.

Rep Power: 0 b/c the previous gens were alot more bolt on friendly. what i mean is that u could get alot more gains from an intake, header, cat, and exhaust then u can with the 7th gens.

Rep Power: 0 ok guys i think i found out what happened, its not that i was driving bad or anything its just that i kinda did a ghetto job with my intake by using pvc pipe, and i found out that after time exposed to the heat of inside the engine bay bonds of chlorine are released from the pvc and are getting suck into the engine and that messes with my oxygen sensor causing my car to be a tad sluggish, plus my filter was dirty and falling apart so i replaced the filter and im getting a silicon tube from a local auto shop welded for my car and hopefully ill be back and running strong again.
