Lemon Law?

well i am asking this question so i can see if we can return my moms 2001 saturn. the problem is the coolent light is always lighting up and there is never any coolent in the car, after a hour of filling it up... We took it to them 2 times in the beging and they said that there was nothing wrong... so the thrid time we took it to them and told them to check it and make sure the light doesn't come on again... they said they took off the head and there was a hair line fracture on the head... so they warrented about 1,000 in parts and labor, then a week later it came on again, and no coolent... so we took it back a fouth time and they said that it was a hose... now the light just started to turn on again... i need to check the coolent and see if i have to fill it up... when i drove the car around with no coolent in the desert , the temp didn't change it stayed normal...

we are leasing the car...

so i was wondering in california would we be able to just return the car, and forfit the lease because my dad wants to give my mom the tl type S and get a Mini Cooper S? Go figure

HomerSimpson is an unknown quantity at this point
Lemon laws differ between states. I am in Illinois and my 99 saturn coupe had to have the spark plugs replaced twice in 6 months because they kept going bad. The dealer said once more and they would have to give me a new car. My suggestion is to contact your state attorney's office and they can mail you, in writing, how they define the "Lemon Law"

I believe the car needs to be fixed for the same problem 4 times, and has to have less than 20,000 miles on it....I dont think that a car that old can be taken back on the lemon law...Do some research on line though.
