What does "independent fuel management" mean?
Or what is a "fuel management system" in general?

A computer other than the stock ECM that controls fuel delivery. Can be a replacement ECM, or an additional (called a standalone) computer that controls the 4 stock injectors, 4 replacement injectors, or any number of additional injectors.

Now, you are probably wondering why I'm talking about chewbacca... well... I'll tell you why.
I don't know. But Chewbaccca was a wookie who lived on Endor. But only Ewoks lived on Endor. So why would an 8 foot Chewbacca live on a planet with a bunch of 2 foot tall Ewoks? It doesn't make sense.
