i know its some sort of cooler, but for what. and i only see em on the hx models.or am i wrong and the dx,lx,and ex have em too..[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

I'm guessing it is an ATF cooler. It may be neccessary if the CVT transaxle generates more heat than a normal automatic.

Gotta be some sort of oil cooler (probably for the tranny) I know the EX models don't have that..... my CAI is routed through there!

cvt is a special auto tranny in HX vics. it has an "S" drive which is supposed to have an infinite amount of gears.
has faster acceleration due to its design.

i dont recall seeing that cooler on my CVT while i was clearing my lights. but then again...it was waaaaay too long ago! is there any way to see it from under the hood? my bro took the car for the night. i dont think i would be able to see it through the wheel well or under the car with all that plastic.l
