Whatever, dude. It's just like ANY other turbocharged engine. If you think you're a god and turn the boost up to 2 bar you're gonna blow ANY engine. They are actually one of the worlds best built engines. Oh, and if you happen to blow one up they are a cinch to rebuild!

"250 hp at 8500 rpm and 159 lb.-ft. of torque at 7500 rpm"

seems pretty weak. how much is that thing? if it's like $35g you could easily fix up a civic with like $15g and probably smoke the stock rx-8. turbo and some engine internals and you could be pushing 250 hp, but way more torque, and probably at less thatn 7500 rpm. i mean come on, the jetta i had was less $$ and it had 174 torque at 2000 rpm. and 180 hp.

yea, or......you could buy a 350Z for $5K less and beat the living shjt out of it. Plus it looks a lot better than that-thing.....it looks like one of those damned "crossover" vehicles.
