New car smell
Hmm, why did my new car smell leave so soon?
Also, it comes back every now and then, but I have no clue why...
Any clue how to get it back? Every "new car smell" air freshener ends up smelling like some cheap cologne or something...

Rep Power: 0 Well, I have had it since September of 2k1, but it left shortly after... maybe 4-6 weeks i'd say...
But yeah, when it is really hot out, sometimes it smells brand new, and the heater smells great for a while when I use it...

Cuz everytime i buy a freshener and drive with the windows down, the smell disappears sooner.

Rep Power: 0 You got used to it. DOnt go in your car for a week or 2 and you will smell it agtain. "new car" smell is just the new fabrics/plastics in the car. With age it goes away, and theres jack u can do about it.
yup you just get used to it, so you never notice it anymore.. kinda like cologne, since its always on you, ya just forget its there til somone metions it.
