So last night, my dumb *** left my moon roof totally open... i wake up today, look out my window...and i see puddles and what not on the street...then i look at my car, and begin to flip out realizing it was open...

the seats are a tad damp... now my question is, what should i do? should i air out the car so that a wet-dampy-smell doesn't appear? helllp!!

why don't you go at it with a wet vac first to get rid of most of the water, then air it out for a bit?? that's what they do at dealerships when they shampoo the carpets/seats...

depending on the temp, stick a fan or a small heater if you need it to help speed up drying time

i am here to help you, because i am a dumba$$ and have done this many a time!!

this is what i do, and it works wonderful

first use a shop vac and suck up as much water as you can....

then put down some of that carpet cleaner powder stuff.... (if you want)

close up all the windows...start the car, crank the heat, and just let it run for about an hour or so.....its worth the waste of gas...it REALLY dyrs eerything out good....
