what kind of work would have to be done for our cars to run a 100 shot of nos safely?

nothing but long term affetcs will be bad . if ur scared trhen go with a 50 shot . i ran a 100 but i scored my cilinder walls but i had a lot more work done than just the nos

Yes I agree. 100 shot would be too much. In order to safely 100 shots or over you would have to do some internal work. If you don't then you'll have problems.

This get us no where, the posts are pointless (no offense joe, you know you're ****... and you're funny most of the time.. just picked your post as an example) All I know is that I'm sure Black99 isn't going to drive to your house to show you his ride, or put it on a dyno at your command.. but I'm sure he'd meet you at a stop light if you live near by. The modifications to Black99's ride are very easily attained if you know a nice machine shop, and you have a decent amount of cash. There's nothing on his signature that says T60 turbo pushing 14psi at 290whp. So, why is it so hard to grasp? Joe, I believe all your kill stories because none of your opponents are on here to defend themselves, and then again.. WHY WOULD YOU LIE? Why would Black99 lie?? To get brownie points from internet guys? Please! I've known some losers to lie about their age, looks, and even their car online... but why would he lie about his car and not make it sound better? He could easily say more.. but he doesn't, he just tells you what he's done. Seems like most guys would lie about a swap, or a highly tuned NA motor, or a turbo pushing 1 bar. Just my opinion.

haha, do you even know what NOS is, how it works? or anything about it, or are you just someone who wants it to just have it. man if you don't know what work to do to run a 100 shot you'll kill yourself. thats a lot of power and thats very dangerious and our civics won't like the 100 shot much. do not install nos.

So what is the difference between 100 shot and 50 shot of NOS? It's it how much is sprayed into the engine? How rich the mixture is? How big the bottle is?

Sorry, if this is too stupid of a question. Just curious.....

it can be done, you'll need a bullet proof bottem end, and a lower compression ratio. You can get your civic to where you want it.. just depends on your budget.

I did some research for my physics project about 3 weeks ago (i did it on forced induction) On a gas engine, each cylinder can safely handle up to 20hp added with nitrous. A 75 shot puts us right under 20. The company (NX Express and NOS) says running under 20hp per cylinder will produce no severe long term effects. Get a purge valve and a 75 shot, the purge valve looks ricey but when you hit the switch you're instantly in the seat. lata

exactly man why would i care if u guys like me ? i main as well say i got a t88 with a 200 shot what the hell righ t. but i dont cause i dont care about that i am just shareing what i got to u guys cause i see a lot of people making mistakes on here . and every body keeps knocking our motors and there not that bad. if ya got the cash and the hookups

the shot depends on the company some rate there power to the wheels such as NX, I think NOS does as well. Some rate it to the flywheel.

Taking NX for example a 100 shot is 100whp, 50 shot is 50whp etc, Its the size of the orfice in the jet that determines the amount of hp the shot makes. The bottle size has nothing to do with the shot. The shot is depending on the JET's

i second that, why would you think a purge kit is ricey? a purge kit is designed to "purge" vaporized nitrous from the line for a harder "hit". you don't want the nitrous to varporize in the line, but after being sprayed from the fogger....

I only say its ricey when people put it in stupid spots and make it look like a damn fog machine. That stuff ticks me off, I still like them though (obviously), I still recommended it. I like the look but im not putting purge valves inside my wheel well to make it look cool.
