Rep Power: 504 Civic EX with 7200 redline?
There's a white Civic EX in my parking lot. It's one of those older ones where the word "Civic" is written in fancier script (like italics or something), not just the normal capital letters like we have. Anyway, it's an automatic and I looked in through the window and saw a 7200 rpm redline. Weird. Did Honda just make a higher reving engine that year or something? What year is it, btw?

Rep Power: 344 yeah they got higher redline before, and a even higher fuel cutoff.
that doesn't necessary mean its good. but yeah.
fuel cut off is around 7100 on ex our generation.

Rep Power: 0 if i removed my stock fuel cut my engine could spin past 9K, but that would be pointless because it would cease to make usable power above 8200. High RPMS does not a fast car make.

theres really no point in taking it beyong 6800rpm.. becuase the D17 makes its peak horsepower at that.. so by going up to 7100 you arent going any faster..[hr]
