Turbo Diesel 98 Dodge RAM 3500

My uncle recently had an overhaul on his truck. Much larger turbo...I wish I knew which type, but the thing is huge...about a foot in diameter. Larger injectors, blow-off valve, K&N intake, HD transmission, 3" exhaust, bigger injectors, chip, and guages. Wish I had more specifics, but I was only in the truck for a little while. The thing chirps 4th gear (auto)...can spin the tires thru 3rd. I can feel myself being pulled into the seat as it accelerates. All this from a Cummings 6cyl. diesel engine. It makes 450ft-lb stock...god knows what it's making now. Merging onto the highway was scary as we were already doing well over 100mph just off the ramp. The funny thing is it hits the redline at 3400rpm.

That's nothing. I got a friend who has a '94 Lightning that ran 10.26 at the track last time we went.

oh well, at least my truck is faster than my civic was.

Just the fan is about a foot. I put my face up to it in amazement and realized it was bigger than my head! The thing is damn loud as it spools up even from inside...and when the blow-off valve goes it sounds like someone opened a bottle of CO2 for a good second.

Off the top of my head...was the 94 Lightning a 5.8L? My brain is saying yes, but I'm not sure...I saw a modded one when I was getting a shift kit done down in Jersey. That thing sounded and looked beautiful.

edit: cuz drunkards can't spell
