Thought you guys would find this interesting. This Crown Victoria ran 12.9s at the MM&FF Invitational Modular Shootout at Englishtown Raceway Park. The only videos I have are of very low 13s, but he did hit 12.9 later in the evening. Not bad for a 4,000lbs car.

Stock Crown Victoria's are only slightly faster than our cars. Even though it has a V8...it still has to push ALOT of weight. Especially since the Police Interceptors have heavy-duty suspensions and carry alot of equipment.

Think of it this way...pick up a 98+ Police Interceptor 6-8 grand. Add a blower...say...4 grand. Total, $12,000 max. Voila, a 12s car for less than a Civic.

edit: Better make it $13-14 since he probably has exhaust, intake, and a chip.

um think of it this way, pick up a starion and throw on some slicks and a new turbo u can also run 12's easy. all that for under 4k

Yeah, those are Mustang SSPs ...SSP stands for Special Service Package. I wish I could get my hands on one of those.
