I'm in Houston, there's all kinds of dirt and grime flying off the freeways.. I wouldn't worry about dust. They can setup air filtration systems for the throttle bodies.

I don't see why not, there's no specific package.. this is what I chose. They can do everything to your specifications. Call the number above.. and work something out.

Oh man, I finally read it all. This is a long thread. I think this package sounds dope. Can't wait for the dyno results. I just wonder how streetable the "Streetable" version is and if it would pass strict emissions laws (California).

All those wires are the ignition. It's a direct coil pack ignition. Your stock airbox/CAI usually connect to the throttle body, well.. those four things sticking out of the back of the motor are throttle bodies. It now has for open/bored throttle bodies instead of the single throttle body connected to an intake system. The reason is because you're getting probably 25% more airflow than you EVER could with ANY cold air intake. So, there is no air filter. It is possible to setup an air filtration system with the sidedrafts (individual throttle bodies) for people who drive their car a lot (like me) so that you don't suck up a lot of dirt. The ITB's will show a drastic improvement in power, especially off the line.

With ITB's, doesn't the heat produced by the motor at the full operation temperature hamper peformance factor?

No, Unless you plan on driving 120 miles before you go racing. Take a look at some all motor draggers out there, domestic or imported. A lot of them have ITB's. Those are only placed on an engine for maximum output on an all motor car. You may think your cold air intake is really helping, but in some cases it has shown to reduce hp or not increase it at all. The guys that are getting a gain are getting like 3whp out of it. If you were to take your intake off, run a straight throttle body.. it wouldn't be safe.. but you'd get more airflow and performance out of your motor. So, imagine getting ATLEAST 4 times the amount. You're getting atleast 25% more airflow than you are with a CAI... and it's instant. The only way to get more airlfow would to have forced induction.

Planning to drive it from GA to Houston? That's a long haul... I'm looking forward to seeing a dyno. I'd consider going that route myself, if I end up moving that is.

after the dyno and 1/4 mile you should give honda tuning mag a call for a feature on your engine.
