Other countires are getting the EuroR or similarly named versions. Perhaps it will appear here as an Acura although they should leave it as is except for the switching the H or for an A.

Umm its called Acura TSX the one we getting. You boys need to understand a lil silly concept. From what I know, in all of history, Japanese has always treated their own with the absolute best in technology or whatever it may be. Their own citizens comes first, and often they will keep some of the best stuff they got to their own citizens only, while other nations get the detuned or water down versions of their products. This is why we don't have Type R's, CTR's, Accord R's, skylines, etc. It's not just because of a marketing or economic/business point of view, I mean Japan has had almost Zero economic growth for the past 12 years.

You guys know nothing.

Do you know what's under the hood of the Accord EuroR? It's got the exact same engine as the new Integra Type R, the K20A which makes approximately 220HP... yes, the 4-cylinder of course.

And we get a 240HP V6 engine? Did we get jipped? Shyt, Japan just gave us the BEST Accord... and it comes as a coupe AND sedan.

Oh, and we can't get jipped... the interior of the Type R is exclusive to the Type R you know.

There are reasons why Suzuki is the 'BEST SELLING CAR IN JAPAN'.
"It's true" [get the joke? lol]

It's much the same reason why we dont see too many diesels offered here, whereas 'D' is much more popular than regular petrol car in Europe.

The reason behind why we dont have type Rs, CTRs, Accord Rs, and skylines [now we do] is much more complex than a simple national pride for these japanese carmakers. It's just a different market with different expectations.

Remember these are businesses for profit.
Any move made by these automakers are and will be financially motivated. How much will it cost to redesign, manufacture, federalize, distribute, and support these models in US? Would it result in greenbacks at the end of the day? How will it impact the current lineup of cars, and the future models in US?
