okay yah moms did buy me my ride i crashed the other ride got 5g's for it and thought i might as well put that down on a civic so she pays tha car payments and i pay the insurance which is just as much as the car payments i'm still going to school so work hours are lower.
in tha summer i payed it myself tho car is all in my name i'm sure i could have saved some loot in tha long run but ah well i wanted my own ride.....
all mods done myself tho so it's all good.......I WORK i needed a car ASAP so got tha civic......

Paid for most of mine, parents helped out a bit because my old car was turning into a freakin' lemon, so i didn't get a chance to save ALL the money at the time because I spent a lot of it getting my lemon fixed. So I bought a
HONDA...
HONDA... lets see first car i had was a 98 silver civic hatch cx, given by my parents, cheapest model there was (no power steering and had the A/C installed after), they wanted to get me an accord and spend more money but i told them cheap car get me used but with our history with used cars they said new and i was greatful for the car, i wasn't working at the time but pulling good grades in high school, then i got shot in it (only had it for a year but me and my dad put 30,000 cuz after school he'd use it for his commute so it wasn't truly mine but i didn't mine sharing cuz i didn't pay for it (installed a full tanabe suspension ($1100) and had a sony deck, in back 6 X 9 and 6 1/2 in front ($350 all together), mud guards, rear cargo cover which i paid for because soon after getting the car i'd get dropped off after school to work before my dad drove to work and then my mom would pick me up after and sometimes I'd walk, struggles i tell you)......
parents traded a week after I got out of the hospital for a 99 CRV ex 5speed didn't drive it, got my dad's 91 integra gs soon after installed (coilovers, 5way tokicos, full generic strut bars all around, camber kits, open box no resonator for intake (sleeper look), straight pipe, 75 shot nex nitrous, short shifter, kenwood deck and a phat rockford fosgate subwoofer system) (stored for three years before I started driving it), pass me down, payed for insurance, until last december when some dumbbutt hit my back bumper and made me do a 180 into a beamer....
after that i was driving a 88 integra my dad bought for his commuter then that broke down, i drove the zc engine too hard it start to act up.
then I was juggling between 1989 honda accord hatchback Lxi (mom) then my dad bought a 91 prelude with the insurance money for the integra
then i bought a 94 del sol my current car with some of the insurance money from the integra earlier this year
I had cosigned for a 99 yukon denali and my cousin decided to start messing up, got his license suspended under a car registered under my name so i took it from him and i've been paying for the monthly 6 bills a month. and paid 350 a month for insurance.
and then my girlfriend needed a car so i bought her a 2002 Honda civic sedan and thats how i wound up here.
And on top of that I'm helping my parents by pay for utilities and our house here in the bay area.
But I'd say honda's are straight RELIABLE! My mom's car has 228,000 miles on it and still runs str8 and like new. And my raced out integra ran until 168,000 miles and was still running NOS no problem.
And all of this done by the Age of 21, graduated with an Associate of Science Degree in Computer Networking Systems and having a well paying job.....
But bottom line is This IMPORT SPORT IS EXPENSIVE!!!!!! JUST MY TWO CENTS

I'm leasing mine...3 years...can either buy it for $10K or trade it in...I pay my lease, my insurance, work 40+ a week, and go to school full time (12 unites)...I don't pay insurance for three months so I'm takin' the money and gettin' my rims hopefully...
