Rep Power: 0 Peeling/Chirping into 3rd gear?
Ok all of us here who drive a manual can peel or chirp or spin their tires into second, and if you can't do that and you drive a manual, then sell it and buy an auto
now my question is who can peel into 3rd? ive done it a few times, my car is bone stock, just lowered, if my wheel is turned and im ripping it down a street in a turn it always peels into 3rd pretty nicely, but even when i am going straight sometimes i manage to get a little CHIRP out of it....
let me know guys...

Rep Power: 0 hehe, sounds nice, i can be going like 20mph and slam the gas down, (flat road, up hill, or down hill) and start a smoke show, it will just start blazing them. I can chirp into 4th.... but hey that's my turbo hatch. With my 2k1 I have NEVER chirped 3rd, I did burn 5th though, it was raingin reallllllllly hard and i hit the gas and the speedometer went up to liike 100....lol

Rep Power: 0 umm...a turbo timer doesnt give you horsepower...it cools the turbo after you're done driving...it keeps the engine running and the oil circulating through the turbo after the car is shut off. you're thinking of a BOOST CONTROLLER

Rep Power: 0 i have never ever chirped thrid, only second, i thought it was impossible with our cars, how did u do it, did u just shift really fast and floor the gas after redlining second, or in third, do u push down the clutch, bring the rpms to redline and release the clutch mad fast?

Rep Power: 0 I've only downshifted from 5th to 4th and chirped 4th at around 90MPH in my Yokos... I was like...
I remember watching a big race between a lot of JDM Hondas and other cars like the STi and Altezza. The new Integra (RSX) Type R can chirp 3rd gear in Potenzas...

Rep Power: 344 er. anyone can chirp into 2nd.
even those that can't drive a manual. whats so hard about releasing ur clutch too early.
u know, the hard part is not chirping one bit, or spinning the tires one bit, when you go down the gears in a high horsepower car.
I guess there are good things such as a good chirp, meaning a nice short one and the tires immediately get a grip and gets going...
but when u spin ur tires, you aren't getting traction, and when you're not getting traction, you're not moving.
to me, chirping usually just means u can't drive a stick, and dont know how to release ur clutch properly.
can you even tell me why this is good? besides what I've mentioned?

Rep Power: 344 also, last I check turbo timers aren meant to keep the engine going long enough, couple minutes.. for the turbo to spool down and yada yada and shuts the car and turbo off safely...
maybe the HKS turbo timer also has a quarter mile function in it.

Rep Power: 0 yes capyoda you are correct it does have a 1/4 function along with 0-60, RPM reading and other options (MPH), obviously the guy who was TRYING to make me look like a fool is misinformed.
