alright everybody........im planning on getting a new engine for my 2k2 sometime.....or at least i want to and i have a few questions.....first....do u think i should or is the d17 good enough....second....if i do get a new one should i want to add intake exhaust and all that other stuff because the engine will be different......second.....whats the best engine we could put into our cars......the k20??....really appreciate any feedback...thanks....ps...the reason i want to is cuz i heard that hks isnt making a turbo anymore for our car....but is there a universal....but the reason why i wanted to switch is to get a motor that has an exisisting application for a good turbo......thanks again

hahahaha, ok first the D17 engine sux. now that thats clear you can pretty much add any 4 banger you want. the k20A2 is the only good engine to add to the 2k2's for the money. but yeh you'll never have that much money to put into the engine. and with a new engine intake n all comes with it man. and umm a univeral turbo?? lol, theres a lot that goes into turbocharging a car. i would swap out the D17 cuz you don't have the money (i assume) and it seems you need to do a lot more reasearch on cars.

word..heh, but yeah...uhhh...i dunno bout a universal turbo...there is custom...but u shouldnt just go and turbocharge a car...u gotta build up tha internals if u wanna run high...or even decent amounts of boost for our cars...i dunno which company's have a turbo out yet for the k20..but yeah...in my opinon..( and what i wanna do when i get enough money) is just do a k20 engine swap and go all motor...
