since we're talking about this...a week ago i see a 2000 Electron Blue Pearl Civic Si cruising down the street so i speed up and get next to it....it was an older lady probably about 50, with her seat straight up and her chin almost on the streeing wheel....so sad
hahaha. You've posted this already. ( i think ). Anyhow. Who else would you expect to be driving a 7th gen civic? They're not sports cars. Hell, they're not even "sporty". It's grandma's perfect car.

Hey, old people can appreciate and enjoy a good-looking fast car (well, current Lancers and SI's exempted). Anyone ever see the Porsche commercial where this old guy awakes from like a 30-year coma?
He is reading the paper and notices that everything is still the same ol' news, so he decides to go for a drive in his--get this--mint-condition Porsche 550 Spyder.
So he's driving around the local 2-lane and he passes a Boxster at an intersection with his blinker signaling he's going to turn into the lane going the opposite way.
Well, upon seeing the Spyder go by, the Boxster driver decides to follow it instead.
As he approaches and gets side-by-side with the Spyder, each of the men check out each other's Porsche and they both go: "HOLY SHHH......MOLEY"
I really liked that one, plus it kinda establishes a link between the two cars. I bet not many people even know about the 550 Spyders, or that today's Boxsters share styling cues with them, as well as the basic layout.

granny with S2k or 00 Si is pretty neat... I mean they can drive stick.. and if they really did bought that car, that means they know what they got.
and they know how to use it, despite their look.
or its their grandson's and they're just taking it around for a spin. heh. *shrug*
I mean those granny tops out most people on this site... no offense...
I'm sure when I'm old I'll have a sports car or some sort. S2.5K perhaps? heh. or whatever M3 is out then.. yeah.. that sounds good.

Whats so funny about a "Granny" driving a fast car? My father raced cars on oval dirt tracks in Michigan in the 50's and 60's, he is now 73 years old and drives a Audi TT. Just because you get old doesn't mean you lose the love of fast cars, I bet when I'm in my late 60's and 70's I'll still be driving a bad arus ride. Maybe the Granny was driving a new 67 GTO back in the day when she was in her 30's, ya never know.
