door panels different color

door panels different color
I have a 2002 ex or si and the thing is I have noticed that the door panels are two different colors but the same material. The top portion is black and the lower
part is kinda purplish black.You cant tell in the dark or when the doors are closed but when the door is open and there is light shinning on it then u can see this.
does anyone else have this or is mine a manufactures defect.

I posted the same question a few months ago... they told me that the doors are constructed of different material than the car's body, so they won't look the same.
