lol you know all those rules honda puts out are bs. oil change for any car = 2500-3000 miles at most.

honda asked me about an oilchange when they were looking at my car which had about 8k miles. i told them i change it every 2500-3000 miles. they praised me for this.

You can go a little over but the longer it takes you to change it the dirtyer the engine oil gets. That's not good for engines. Its up to you.

Yeah. . I go every 3000. At that time it's pretty dirty. So every 3000 no exceptions. I'm about to 23,000, my next oil change is at 24,000 right on schedule. . So yeah. . keep it clean . . It's better for the car.

It's tough to answer this; it depends on a host factors - what kind of temperature you drive in, how hard you drive your car, whether you do mostly freeway or city driving, are you using synthetic or conventional oil, etc. With synthetic oil and about 80% freeway driving, I've gone 8000 miles before between oil changes. With conventional oil, I usually try to change it every 3000 or 4000 miles.
