This myte be a n00b question but anyway. Will this fit on an LX? Do you think it's a waste on money if I get this? And if I do buy it, how much would the labor be? Click here

If you can get the EX ECM, then it will work...otherwise, waste of money.

Edit: Just to clarify, u need the EX ECM to make the VTEC mechanism work.

i saw that and was gonna ask the same question...

i know you would need the ECM but dont you also need a certain part from the cat or something? What i mean is that most headers will fit the EX but not the LX...what part is missing?? i forgot [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG]

As far as I know, the only difference between the LX and the EX is that the cat is mounted very close to the exhaust manifold on the LX, which means you would also need to buy a replacement header/manifold and downpipe with the cat further dowstream, as in the EX.

If you wanted to keep it stock, just get both the EX ECM and the exhaust manifold/downpipe/cat combo.

Hey whats up. Just reading up on somethings and i noticed this thread. i was thinking about doing the same thing to my 02 civic lx but on ebay i cant find anymore. does anyone know where i can get a vtec cylinder head? if so please let me know asap thans a lot[IMG]i/expressions/beer_yum.gif[/IMG]

Theres a couple for sale in the market place, other than that, honda has them, but they're something like $930.
