They would have to be low back racing seats, or racing baby seats . Plus the pass thru to the trunk would have to be covered up, but I think it would look cool opened up. (Plus it would save on weight.) Maybe have no back seat(s) at all for maximum weight savings.
what he means is that the back seats are lower than the racing buckets, and they would cover up your rear windshield, also if you bothered to go out and look at your car, you woud see that they sit on a carpeted perch if you will which is about a foot off the floor, you would have to demolisha nd remove that before you could put in the mounting brackets, i also think it would look like crap, IMO its alot better to doa really nice custom leather/alcantera re upholstery in the back with comfy racing buckets in the front, Recaro or Sparco. nice Sparcos run from about 600-1000 dollars for your basic street applications. Recaros run about 200-300 dollars more than that. I would do rear seat upholstery with the same color pattern as the racing seats you buy, have the outer edges be leather and the inner parts be alcantera, with sum custom stitching and logo work, would look fly IMO.

I actually saw a 7thgen with that done on the interior recently. He fabricated a post that went across the car in which the seats bolted on to. Contrary to belief, they didn't stick up too far, but there certainly wasn't a lot of legroom there in the back! Cool concept, but it wasn't very practical...
