Its VERY rare that I will do this, but today was an exception. I do keep it on the track, but on the way home from a total CRAP day at work I was ready to blow off some steam. While keeping myself from reving it high this loud red Civic comes up quick and scares the s@!t outta me as it cuts me off and revs at me. It's a red EX coupe, 5th gen, with stickers galore! It's got the usual rice boy "DOHC VTEC" on BOTH sides, some Asian letters on the rear, a HUGE sticker that spans the door and window and roof. Plus he has his headlights and aftermarket wal-mart special fog lights on (its 5 in the afternoon now...), windows down, decent looking Hispanic chick in the passenger side, cRAP music blaring, and a fire extinguisher (with NOS sticker on it) bolted onto the passenger A-pillar. He keeps on reving at me and looking at me, so I figure, why not take all my anger out now [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]. I follow him to a stop, I get there first, so I do a normal start to see what he is gonna do. Surprise, surprise he floors it. I let him pass me, then step on it and easily pass him by 60 mph. We come up to another stop sign where we actually get to talk (and I get to check out the chick agian...not too bad). "You wanna go boy?" he asks me. "Sure, if you THINK you can...maybe the stickers won't slow you down this time." "Aite!" He takes off (smoking his tires of course!) so I let him pull a bit and just KILL him this time. By 60 I had about 2 car lengths on him. I break casually to let him catch up. We stop again at a light. "Hey bud, you don't have a B series in there....you got a D" I say to him. (The girl is just laughing and smiling at me now) "I know, I got a single, my boy put this on here" he replies. "Take it off, it looks like S@!T" I say...then I drive away and laugh my *** off. UGRH! People like this **** me off...this is only the 2nd time in recent memory I have raced on the streets. I don't like doing it, but sometimes I just have to prove people wrong. The other time was against a black Focus hatch....again I win....

I talked to my buddy tonite and mentioned the story; apperently this car has been seen before...the huge sticker said "Diablo".
HA yeah...that was while a friend and myself were switching out headlights.

One nite on Westihmer a woman (of all things an older lady!) in a Porsche challenged me! I kid you not, I was minding my own business at the lite and the lady revs at ME. I'm like sure why not, I've always wanted to see a Porsche in action. I just took off normally and watched her fly.

I can't wait till I get the new exhaust system (Apexi World Sport) and get rid of my RICE CAN! Worst thing I ever did; its loud, annoying, and attracts the wrong people.
