Wow, I knew my reply would get some different comments but geezus. I did mention the fact that the car is considerably faster than ours...but to me, its not how fast it is, it's how good it looks. If you can do both then more power to you. Why do you think I purchased a Civic? I new well that I wasnt buying a fast car, especially purchasing an auto. I bought a reliable, good on gas, good looking car, in which I DIY cleared lights and put rims on it. And I know I'm gonna get flamed for this one but...
changing the factory headlights to the projectors, how does that make the car faster, and the graphix, how about the 6 disc CD changer??
I would much rather watch Nascar, or even golf.
OPGForce...that is a great looking car, pure poser would still smoke the civic (mine included)
Aki...you make some very valid points on the guidelines for how a civic should be, in fact I agree with you on every last one of em. But I gotta say this one thing...Why is it that most Ferraris/Vettes/Vipers/Porsches/Lambos dont have wings? Its strictly a question, not trying to flame.
And to all of you who said anything that had to deal with me saying its ugly, I just want to state that IMO it is a very ugly car (to each his own, some people cant seem to grasp that concept). I wouldnt drive it, unless it was gonna make me all $120,000 back.

Okay...you are actually saying you would rather watch cars drive in circles all day than watch a rally race? Are you insane? And yes, I can't stand NASCAR.
Also, I have to agree with the opinion that the car does not look pretty, it was not built to be. You put a body kit on that WRX and it would be GONE within the first 10 minutes of it's next race. The rims are utilitarian, as is the rest of the vehicle, with the exception of the cd player...what's up with that? Haven't seen a rally car with a sound system in it... Also, his race team needs better graphics...that (whatever it is) looks like an afterthought. I like the laptop setup, although a rally computer is probably more durable...I bet they are going to go through a lot of laptops during a season.
Read the rest of the thread and it sounds like this was his daily driver as well and now has a fully race setup WRX. Good for him.
