I think that is one of the ugliest car's I have ever seen. Granted it is alot faster than our cars. If it was silver, it might be a whole lot nicer lookin...and lose those ugly rims

Have some respect you dolt! Nothing on that car is for looks, it all serves a mechanical purpose. Even the ugly rims.
Not even, Blingin01Civic got some good points. The graphics on the side has to go, as well as the roof scoop and stickers..it can look a lot cleaner. I do like the rims tho...they are nice. But some things jus doesnt fit well...but a lot of wrench time makes it fast and sweet no doubt, but it ain't clean by no means

well, the spokes have a function on those rally rims and that is to keep them from bending. Simply put. You have to appreciate the car for what it was built for, not for what it looks like(for all those RICERS who mod there car and do not race or show).
obviously the car is meant for speed and competition BUT... is there really a need for that cheesy graphic and that huge-a$s wing...
i think the car would look 10 times better minus the roof scoop, the blue flame and the book-shelf looking thing on the trunk

I think that WRX is ugly. I don't like how it has mods that actually serve a function. Those rims suck, I'd prefer 19 inch 30 pound rims that look nice. Why would anybody put mud flaps in a rally car? You know, the clearance is too high, I'd prefer it to be low so that my foot can't fit under the car.
Granted those graphics look kinda tacky, that's still an awesome car. Why would you dog on a car cus' it has mods that actually serve its purpose?
If you want to talk tasteless, here's what tasteless is:
Econobox civics that have a 20 square foot hole for a non-existent intercooler in the front. (You'd have to have a twin turbo 500 HP car to need an intercooler to accomodate those gaping holes)
Rear bumpers meant for dual exhaust.
Huge tach meters in a car where it takes a couple of seconds to hit the redline.
Racing shift ***** for an automatic car.
Racing seats w/ racing belts.
PIAA blue bulbs: weaker than stock bulbs.
Buzzing exhaust.
Wings. All of them.
To each person his own; however people with cars that are all show and no go shouldn't diss on people with cars that are all go and no show.

"Huge tach meters in a car where it takes a couple of seconds to hit the redline."
The point of having a large tac in a visable spot (ie on the dash) is so you dont hit the rev limiter durring those "couple of seconds to redline". think about that one. It would have been better to say "I hate huge tachs on cars that run 16 second 1/4 miles" or what not.
"Racing seats w/ racing belts"
racing seats do make a comfort difference. i dont see a problem with someone wanting to swap out their stock lay-z boy for something with laterial and lumbar support.
"Wings. All of them."
Agreed, but doesnt the S14 in your avatar have a rather large wing as well?

Racing seats are better for support, but I'd prefer my "lazy-boy" seats. Its a daily driver car. I don't think people go swerving around 60+ mph in their civics. I agree yes it does help, but I think its overkill for our cars.
My avatar? Sorry to tell ya, but that's not a Silvia, that's an Skyline R34 GTR.

425 Horsepower, max torque 45 kgm/6000 rpm.
Before the SSS Attesa E-TS system recognizes tire slip, the car essentially move as an FR car. Especially since the R34 has more of a tendency to oversteer than the R33 or R32, a good wing is a helpful addition. I think the wing looks kinda cheesy, but it is very useful.

That list of tasteless things was with regards to our civics, not in general. Some of those things are clearly useful in the right context, so I thought it was clear. Guess it was not.
"Wings. All of them." Meant that I hate any and all wings on our civics, not all wings on any car. Some cars are nice with a wing. On a FF car like ours however...
