maybe its just me but why the hell would people ever put those gay *** leather tops on a nice car. i saw a hooked up sick looking

ok picture a old monte carlo or delta 88 they have the leather roof tops. starting at the wind shild gowning all they way back to the back wind shield and around the windows. well there are people over here who do that to civics and other cars.

Then there was something called "Phantom top", which was similar, except the material was fabric..kinda like a fake convertible top[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG]...LOL...
there called "roadster roof" they are usually not available from the factory and the dealer sends them out to a local guy to get them done. it was popular in the late 70's and 80's. I think they look like ***. I mean, every one knows that that 88' cutlass is not a convertible. Bleh! [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG]
where I'm from we call 'em rag tops. Yes, old domestics almost came standard with them. I have seen some people put them on imports, but it looks terrible. They belong on cars 80s and older.

I think those are still optional on certain rides, like the lincoln towncar. At least, it must have been in the last 5 years or so, cuz I keep seeing towncars with them . . .
