first u should really read ur manual or at least check it when u have a question the answer is in the manual. u can also do a search on the forum its really good function. well to reset it u press the rest button from ur trip mileage thing before u start the car and then u switch the key to the on position but dont turn the engin on. keep the button depressed for like 10 secs or longer till the light goes away.

get into ur car and hold the **** (the one that changes the mileage of car) down and start ur car... keep holding it down for 10 more seconds after u have started ur car... it should now have disappeared.

thanx for the tip Jochij and DMX this one helps, another useful thread, thanx. and no it NOT in the owners manual, i looked it up and couldnt find anything about it in my manual!
