what is this crap?

i still don't have my new car, it hasn't even been started on either. i called this morning to find out when i can have them move my speakers from my current car to the new one and the service guy was all nice and said come down anytime before 6:30 because it takes about an hour to do. but then i get transfered to a sales guy to find out about the radio getting put in. they want to charge me to install my stereo that i dropped off yesterday instead of the stock one. right now there is no radio and they have to put either the stock one or mine in. what makes them so special that they can charge $50 to put in my stereo when they'll put in the stock one for free?

i didn't get to talk to the sales guy i was working with on sunday, but when i get ahold of him he's going to be sorry he didn't offer it for free before. i have the whole kit and wire harness all in a box for them to install and they won't do it for free. i know i'm going to have to pay for the speakers, but come on.

anyways, after looking at the car yesterday, it looks like they're going to have to do a lot of work for it to be ready fr me

my car is at diamond bar honda getting some body work and interrior work done. i'm not all that up for ripping out my back seats to change some speakers, espically since i don't have the time to do it between now and when i'm picking up the new car. if they're going to charge me for the head unit, i'll DIY that, i've already swapped mine back to stock so i can just take my time on that. i don't want to give up my brand new speakers to somebody because they're going to charge me, and it is a lot of work to do, so i don't mind paying that.

i'm just mad that they've got to open up the whole center of the car to do the radio, why not just throw in mine? then they don't have to shell out for a stock radio.
