What up peeps!! I want to know why everytime I pull up to a light or I'm driving down a road someone always has to rev their engine at me????? Is it b/c they are trying to say whats up or are they saying they want to race don't know really b/c i'm really not a racer just like to make my car look good!!!!!! if anyone can explain please dooooooo!!!!!!

hehe i revved at a huyndai sonta a few mins ago wen comming home from work.. he had tint n stuff.. so we went at it.. man he kept up pretty good.. maybe a foot or so ahead of me.. im sure i coulda caught him.. we took it up to like 90... but da girl in my passenger seat got scurrdd.. so she made me slow down..

I agree.

People will do it because they want to; because they think you have a nice car that is worth enough to 'take on' their car; because they think they are supposed to.

Just ignore them.

On a side note: I rev. at some cars just so that I can hear the rev or their car. Some sound really nice. I know its all about the import, but... a throaty mustang...sounds nice.

Speaking of reving your engines. My friend Dan and I usually go drive around. Wether its in his F150 or my Civic, we rev our engines on people with Integras, Civics, and other cars. I dont like revving my engne much because its basically stock and it sounds like crap. We just do it to be stupid and I dont ever race because why race when you will lose? Plus its funny when my friend Dan revs on some guy in an Integra and they race and my friend beats him easy. Also just to be even more stupid I cruise around the mall with NOS, VTEC, I got NOS, and powered by honda written on my windows with markers.

Man i get so many people reving and coming flyin in on my *** and they slow down to match my speed for a couple of secs then they hit the gas and go.... while i just cruise with my women.... they REALLY do it when I have my neon on!!!!!!!

thanks for all the replys, my girlfriend kept telling me that they were just saying whats up everytime they rev but i really don't know anyone with honda out here so didn't see why they would rev at me!!!!!

Yeah green, your car looks nice. Sometimes I rev at people to be a jack-***, but mostly it's just to say hey, and occasionally to race. Even though there's not many cars out there I could take, with a mostly stock auto. Yeah I find it just a way to say hello or get someone's attention ..
