350z at $21,269? No way...
I just read a review of the 350z and it is said to start at $21,269. Can this be true? Anyone know when the release date in the states will be? I DEFINITELY want one. I love the looks, the interior, and it is said to do 0-60 in 6 seconds... Wow... I may be riding high!
BASE Price is $26,269.00
You can go to Nissans web site and 'build you own'
you know - choose colors and trim and accessorys
The trims are like porches: touring, track, performance, etc

Yep, just read the review in "Motortrend" on it. Seems like a pretty decent car. However, I'd rather have the new 6-speed accord coupe.[hr]

That's one ugly-a$$ car, 6-spd tranny notwithstanding.

What about the 240hp v6? I had a 00 ex vl and the v6 was awesome. I always said it needed another 40-50hp. I can't imagine the extra hp with the manual. It should be close to the wrx performance wise in a much, much, nicer car. Although, I agree, it's not the best looking car. We'll have to see it when it hits the showrooms at the end of the year.[hr]

It's definatly not gonna compare to the 350Z. I have a friend who is number 2 on the list for a 350 in my city. it should be faster than a WRX stock, with a official nissan turbo kit coming in a year or so. plus RWD. It's a real sports car.[hr]

No it doesn't compete with the accord. The z is a niche car. The accord is mainstream. The latest figures on the accord are 6.6 secs to 60 for the auto sedan. No numbers on the coupe yet but it is predicted that it will hit 60 in under 6secs. The mags are usually dead on in predicting things such as this.
Anyhow, I didn't mean to pit the 2 aganst each other. 2 totally different cars aimed at 2 totally different markets imo. I was just saying for 26-27k, I would rather have the accord. I would have to say that MY opinion is in the minority. I just love hondas...
