Spotted - Underbody Neons on a......

Spotted - Underbody Neons on a......
I was driving around tonight in an area with a couple viaducts (so I could listen to my exhaust 
) and what should I see? Underbody neons, on an EARLY 80's Lincoln Town car! [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] The neon was hard to miss because it was mounted way low and outside, so the tubes were clearly visable. This thing was a total POS. I bet the neon tubes served a dual purpose; To make the car look 'pimp', and to hold the car together.

I've also seen underbody neons on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The neons must've altered the engine speed because the guy didn't like driving slow through the parking lot.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG]
(both of these sad applications of underbody neons were spotted in the Bridgeview/Oak Lawn IL area.)
