Best Buds Red 99 SI Got Stolen

Yep just talked to him and it happened last Saturday night apparently came out of his apartment complex in Phoenix and it was gone. They just found out this week out in the dessert around Phoenix apparently they stole it and took it out for a joy ride and beat the $hit out of it but everything is still in place on it just some Dings on the outside. But the insurance is fixing it up now but his worst nightmare came to be and like most people dread this moment. I will say he is lucky its still in one piece and they found it. Lived in Phoenix for 2 years and Arizona for 3 years over all and Phoenix is well know for auto theft but yeah with Phoenix being #1 Auto Theft this is just an example of what can happen if you have one of those sweet SI Coupes, or pretty much any civic these days.

Just venting just makes me so mad people can be so just Juvenile and not want to work for the stuff we have to

Did you hear about the guy in TX who had his SI stolen sooooo many times that every time it was stolen, he got it back and it was still in good condition? It was an interesting relationship... I THINK he still has the car.

I don't like them. Saw the steering wheel and it's off in approximately 11 seconds.

I'd rather my car be stolen and disappear than for it to turn up and be messed up! I am apartment hunting this weekend.... I am definately gonna check out the security factors.

If you're gonna get something like the club, get that thing that locks the pedals. I didnt look into it too much but it seems better than the club.

yup, one more step equals more risk for the thief and maybe he'll move on to the next car

Id like to see someone try to steal my car in my complex. They would get so sick and tired of trying to get out of the place, they would probably just ditch the car.

Yeah I have the AutoLock which goes over the pedal which I have a Manual so that would be the clutch it beats the hell out of the Club I still have mine that I use also with the autolock if I am in a Bad area like when I was going to college. But yeah those thieves do bring up the insurance and with things like they are I can see why people are going crazy stealing, things were great job and economy wise now just horrible

The club sucks... it takes 11 seconds to remove. Got pics of the autolock?
