hahahahahahahah neons!!!
i always see this guy that goes to a gym across from my job with this dumb looking Neon 4door with a shogun kit and dual exhaust and rims and a loud system. Well today on my way back to work i see the guy on a road by my house goin towards the highway. i stop at a light and he's behind me and he starts rockin his system to show off.
We get the entrance of the highway and as soon as the wall on the side of the exit goes away he moves over downshifts and floors it. im like oh! he wants to race?? so i drop to second and gun it. Needless to say the rest of the time i saw him was in my rearview. by 4th i was doin about and was about 7 car lenghts ahead, so at 90 so i flicked on the hazards and slowed up. I see him slow down and move over to the left lane. For like a 1/2 mile he's keepin his distance and the eventally exits. I have always hated that stupid car, now that i kicked its a$$, i can stop hating it and start laughing at it. Stupid riced out Neons.

Rep Power: 0 i hear ya!! couple days ago i was going home and here comes this OTHER white neon, with some 300$, 13" rims, and a dual tip muffler and some altezzas..not lowered, nothing, just plain stock.. and he seems to find it atractive to rubb his engine couple times right when he is next to me. so i stick my my arm out like saying "what??" and he does the same thing, doggin me.
I know im going to find him sooner or later, and ill be a happy camper as well.. (evil laugh)

I'm telling you, the neons are really no joke to mess with. I used to have a 95 sedan before 'I came to the other side'. I actually sold it to my little bro because he needed a car. Well, we were both out one night, just screwing around and decided to race. Well, he had a screwed up tranny (auto) and he pretty much had no first gear. It was burned up cause he was doing neutral drops like an idiot. Anyway, we both decide to race and I only beat him by about a car length. If you do a neon up right, it can be a dangerous car. Also, when was the last time you saw a sub-10 second Civic? There's an all motor neon from NC running in the 9s from the last report. Laugh it up now, but when you meet the right guy, he'll smoke you.

Rep Power: 0 speaking of neons a while back this wannabe whitegirl thugette was sayin her car is fast. i saw her at 12:30 am at this light, pulled up next to her, and we dragged. im sorry to say this but right when im shifting first to second i glimpse my side/rear mirrors. oh what a sight, she got smoked by a totally stock (at the time) 2k1 ex.

The DOHC ones will def. give you a run for your money if not whoop on ya.......yea, they're really ugly......but they do have potential to whoop us.......All the neons I've reaced around the Portland, area, (only 3-4).....I've beat them all.......I had 1 passenger in the car most of the time too.
I'm just awaiting the day I get smoked.....Although the time has not come yet.......so........race on.....and keep it safe

Rep Power: 0 my friend(girl, as all neon owners should be [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG] ) has a completely stock neon SOHC. They're surprisingly torquey off the line, but after 30-40, they're poop!

I've run an EX before, we only had about 400' of space to run in. He launched and I didn't, so coming off idle he had about 2 carlengthos on me or so, we shut down atthe top of 2nd gear (60ish) after it turned into 1 lane and i had made up probably a carlength. So take that for what you will.
