A creative new mod!

Hi guys - I was in my car the other day thinking of ways I could mod my car and I had my keys in hand.. and when I was staring at them I couldn't exactly read the emblems or writing on the key.. so I thought, why not add a small little creative touch to my keys to make them just a little less "stock". So, as far as I know, I'm the only guy in california at this second with non-stock keys... hehe, just take a look at the pic and tell me what ya think. Just thought I'd share the idea with the family! Enjoy

As you can see the "Honda" on the remote and the symbol on the key were painted a blue color, and the "panic" was painted in white since I couldn't really notice it before. If you want a DIY.. I think you need to go back to 1st grade, hehe sorry, but enjoy =)

I wouldn't call that a mod, that's like putting stickers on your car and saying it's a mod

You should color it with glow in the dark marker then your key chain and key will be easier to find in the dark

That looks pretty cool actually. I still have the keys to my 91 teg and the acura writing is in red. Always thought that was pretty cool. Too bad I totaled her at 70mph...a moment of silence....

Depends on what you mean or interpret "mod" to mean. To me it means modifying or altering the car in any way from oe spec. In effect, he has modded his keys from oe spec. But whatever, who gives a rat's @ss.....now I feel like the **** car lingo police...

Damn straight, whats with people nitpicking. Its like giving someone $hit because they mispelled a word or used incorrect grammer.

Anyway, back to the subject at hand. Looks pretty cool plus unique points. Good job!

Well - I guess you can say it not a mod. Personally, it's unique, I didn't see it anywhere or copy off anyone - so I thought it original. If you want to know exactly how to do it the way I did, this how: Take a brush with small fine tip, dip in color of paint you wish to use (model paint, I use the kind my best friend use on dungen and dragon toys) and then color over the words you wish to fill in.. do not worry about getting everyone in cracks and ish, because once paint dries, you take it to a girl who have long nails (or you, if you have long nails.. :confused and just go over the lettering makeng sure not to scratch the inside of the letters, that way you scratch paint off the top part of the outside of letters, and the paint stays inside the letters. Neat no? Have a nice day =)

p.s. mod = modification ?? make anything but how it comes right? I not care, I like my keys.. and the paint is waterproof so my sweaty fingers will not dmg =)

If you want a mod, try placing the key in the keyless remote. That would be something to do. I personally would not like it, but someone else might.
