Rep Power: 293 Police strobes on the 7thGen! (pics)
FRONT
REAR
I had an hour to kill so I opened up photoshop. This is the strobe setup I plan to do, only with 4 strobes in the rear and no center strobe in the front. I added those for the police effect
I'd like to get flashers for the front.. are our civics positive or negative switched?
the animation plays correctly in netscape-- for some reason it runs slow on Internet Explorer.
Cool, eh?

Rep Power: 0 Mine are like that, but they are like 100x faster. Stay away from the wig-wag flashers (alternating high beams)...you'd really be asking for trouble if a cop found them. I would buy the excuse that you need strobes for shows, but unless you're an EMT/FF or cop, you really shouldn't have a ton of emergency equipment in the car

Rep Power: 293 I hate the idea of drilling a hole in the front lights for strobes.. it would be too noticable (at least I think it would). that's why I'd rather get flashers. No one can see through the lens for the taillights. I plan on having the strobes in the sidemarker and reverse lights, flashing like they do in the pic.

Rep Power: 0 No offense to the police but I wish they would let us do what we want ot our cars. We pay for our cars and pay taxes which pay for roads and police salaries why can't we just do what we want.

Rep Power: 0 Ummm....I don't care what someone puts in the car, but the minute they start using wig-wags/strobes, etc on a public road. it becomes impersonation of a police officer.

Rep Power: 0 police strobes are kinda expensive and hard to find as opposed to the stoopid single flashing strobe you can buy at pep boys... if you wanna strobe it up.. get police style strobes...

Rep Power: 294 haha, I have strobes in the front (I have Derek's old cleared headlights). I don't have a controller like the StreetGlow one, so the flashes are kind of random. It still looks way cool though.

Rep Power: 0 If something is flashing behind me, I want it to be an emergency vehicle - NOT some kid with more money than brains and no regard for the rights of others.

Rep Power: 0 From the police perspective--I don't mind if people put the police strobes in their car so long as they don't even think about using them on the road. They're fine for off-road and show use, but it's serious once you're using that stuff on public roads and don't have authorization to.

Rep Power: 0 LOL, yeah I did the same thing. I used to have a Viper alarm on my old t-bird, and it sounded like a cops siren and I could use it while I was driving. I didnt pull anyone over for it, but it was funny watching some people pull over to let me through.
