here goes, i bought my car and later noticed it had a paint bubble on it. i take it to the dealer (Ourisman Honda, Bethesda, Maryland) and they finally decide to fix it. i was about to leave it there one day and just when i was bout to sign papers for the rental, they said, "no, u are under 21, we cant give u a rental". i understand that much, so why would they sell me the warranty with that option if i cant use it? wtf??this really ticks me off, cuz i have to get my oil change done next week. what am i to do, take the bus?? i dont know how to ride the Ride-On! any suggestions??

tell ur parents to sign for it, they drive it away from the dealer, then u rock it for the day and they drive it back. u gots to be 25 to rent from hertz ne ways

Complain. Complain.Complain. They tried the same bull with me. The forgot my leather,4 paint chips and a friggin dent when I bought my "new" car. I told them if im old enough to buy the car then Im old enough to get a loner car. I was 19 at the time.

From what I understand, 25 is the age for being able to rent a vehicle...there's an insurance break at that age, so many companies adopted that as their policy...saves them some coin...

have your p's sign for the rental, or ask your friend for a ride. i think 25 is the minimum too. not to sure though.
