How much is sufficient for you? And how involved are you wanting to get with the mods to satisfy your power needs?
There are currently i/h/e mods, ECU recalibration, fuel system harnesses, direct fire ignition coil upgrades, iridium spark plugs, stand-alone engine management systems, cam gears, VTEC controllers...and more are coming out. Just be patient, as we have a pretty tough little engine to modify...what with the economy-minded VTEC system and the ULEV emissions system...

Nitrous is the only way to get good results with the car now.
I prefer that you call it NITROUS instead of NOS...
The quick and easy solution would be to go out and get a new GT or Type S; real sports cars. Or if you want, just wait a year or so and the aftermarket for our cars should pick up...turbo's should be out by then. Those plus a nice 50 shot and you should be pretty decent.

Yeah Nitrous is the only real thing you can do to get more HP out of the car.
With time someone will have a Turbo out for our cars, and I think alot of us are waiting for that.
Your only other, and more expensive option is to do a swap.
