KBB says about $14,000, but most dealers would never give you that much. Try to sell it yourself, or to Carmax. Or trade it on on the purchase of a new car =0).

Depends if u done anything to your car but if its stock prob around $11K to $12K but get a base RSX or Type-S cause those damn dealerships are jacking up the price for a SI right now

My car is stock and basically brand new. I really want the new Si and the sticker price is 18,000 but I talked to a guy that bought one for 17,500 the other day.

probably 13.5
in JUNE NADA wholesale book for an 01 EX:

13050 11750 15250
trade loan retail

deduct w/o auto (475)

auto dealers will give you close to loan for late model cars, loan is what they can get a loan for.

On the "holier than thou" side:
you should probably take some time to think about large purchases, just as a general philosophy.....

It's true, Si's are now going for $17,500. It's wasn't as big of a deal as Honda had thought, so they're trying to bring sales back up from a horrible launch. My friend almost bought one 3 days ago, but got a used Integra instead 'cause he wants to soup it up. I'd get an Si, if there was no such thing as a VW GTI 1.8T .

THey want to bring the sales up on the Si, so you can dictate the sale-- tell them you'll trade it in if they give u 14,000 (or more) for ur trade in + sell the Si for 16,500

They'll probably act like they can't do it, but leave and leave them your #. One of the dealers in your area wants the business, might take a couple of weeks but thats what I have done with dealers and its worked so far.

LOL yeah the dealer here still has like 4 or more of the new SI sitting around no one is buying them so the prices have gone down. But yeah I would never buy one, now a RSX-S or the new Accord V6 Manual

you should be able to get around 14 for your car, if it's a 02. they'll mark the SI down for you too, if you can pay the rest off probably. you should pay about 2500-3000 out the door.
