Good God. If you gunned it the twisting motion of the engine would probably flip the car over. That'd be a neat trick.

No, if you would notice that engine is a 427 SB, most vettes had a 350 in them, i dont really know much about this gen of vettes, but they may have thrown a 400 in somewhere. This SB is bigger than my BB 400, lol.

The C3 shark which that gen is called did not have any other option than the 350. They did have a l-82 option but that only gave a whopping 170 hp.

LOVELY Smog motors. I am the proud owner of a '81 and the only feesable hp option is a swap, which I have done to a LT1. an add of 80 hp

im assuming you have all forgot about the twin turbo charged vette that beat the blue angel jet from zero to sixty. the vette went zero-60 in 1.9, 3.56 i think for the jet. lingenfelter (sp?) had done the work on that vette, total cost was like 160,000 i think.
