well i was stopped at a stop sign and about to turn.. i look around and there no cars.. so i start to turn and **** theres this miata sqeeling its breaks so i gun it and get the fuvk out of there! i coulda sworne there was no car there! but **** i must have not looked properly

soo yeah now im stting at home and somebody calls my dad and tells them about this, sooo somebody on my street must have saw... so i get bitched at.. (which is really bad cause i just got into an accident a while ago)

now im feelin REALLY bad cause after all this was MY fault..

should i try and find the person and appoligize or something?
or would that just make it worse? and possibly get me a big bruise?

You're lucky a cop wasn't sitting there. He/She probably could have put a big dent in your insurance and your license record. I find it inappropriate to call someone's parent regarding thier driving habits. If someone is a license holder, the complaining party should take it up with the licensed person; not call their parent.

this reminds me when i was really little (like 6yr/old) and i drove me bigwheel across the streat w/o looking and this old hag in some giant boat car slammed on her brakes to avoid me. she yelled at me for like five minutes and then had the nerve to stand in the middle of the street screaming until my mom came out. she bi-atched at me mom for another five minutes. long story short, i got grounded for like 2 weeks.--true story damn narks.


but yeah, maybe you find the perosn should apologize. it may spare you a keymark or two in the near future.

Dude, I wouldn't worry so much about almost hitting someone. I mean, you did no damage to them whatsoever, and them trying to sue you would be like trying to sue someone for looking at you the wrong way. Stuff like that doesn't happen. At least, not around here it doesn't... I really doubt your world is gonna cave in because you almost hit someone. I do stuff like that every day [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] . I also find it extremely insulting and inappropriate for someone to call your parents...when the car is insured and registered under your name. A POLICE OFFICER did that to me/my parents once because someone complained about my driving. I'm twenty years old.....licence/registration/insurance ALL in my name. I was going to complain to the detatchment but lethargy set in.....and a suspicion that they really wouldn't give a f*ck anyway.

I guess a police officer could tell the parents of a minor under the age of 18 about a driving problem, however, I think it's more appropriate to simply issue a summons (or not) and handle a violation just as you would handle any other properly licensed subject.

LOL my neighbors are the same way I have gone like 26 or so buy them and they are all waving me to slow down old geezers. Yeah I could see them telling my parents about that, so I mean whatever my parents would believe me over my stupid neighbors anyway. They hate them lol, so your parents are getting on you and unless you have lived in the same area all your life then I don't see why your parents wouldn't side with you? I mean I could see my neighbors complaining to my parents about my tint is too dark I can't see anyone in there, but my parents let me do my thing I will be 21 here in a few short weeks.

Sorry to hear but yeah I wouldn't go say anything you could get a beating, unless you saw them then yeah you could say something.
