I love that car...except I'm not too crazy about the truncated butt...looks outta place on a M-B, IMO.

Remember the BMW 318Ti? That was very similar and it didn't go over too well...I though that was better looking, too.

Edit: Now, if they shoehorned an AMG V8 motor into it...well, it would be a whole different story!

Superchargers do have a kick to them, as the rpm's pick up, the charger adds more power, it isn't a linear increase. My friend had a 95 Cobra running 13 psi through a vortech supercharger (I think it was a blower, not sure though, coulda been centrifugal) and around town you hardly knew it was there, but above 2400 its starts whining and you start going very very fast).
Secondly the baby mercedes is fairly quick, with EQUALLY MATCHED drivers it would stack up fairly well with an rsx-s or a gts, straight line. I like them

Indeed. Except when compared to a Civic.

I agree, but after driving my car and then hopping into that thing, there is a difference. Plus the thing was only 2 weeks old.....
Still enjoyed.

Most Superchargers do actually Kick In..most have a bypass that keeps the engine under negative pressure (ie Sucking in air) for better fuel economy. They bypasses close up after a certain throttle position, and put then engine under postive pressure (BOOST!)...

Huge Whipple S/C's are always on... Eaton style S/C's pretty much all have bypass valves which keep engine under negative pressure untill needed...

Boing!

sc?? do you mean supercharger?? if so, theyre always on, its belt driven so no lag for it to spool up.

edit: forgot about the bypass for when they arent needed (still thinking of huge blowers...) my fault
