Grey (or anyone else that might know!) - have you found a good online business that does powdercoating? I've found a couple that look good but it is over a week turnaround which would be tough. I haven't been able to find anyone local who does it.

I haven't started looking yet. I remember reading that you should just call places up that paint stuff. Any stuff, and ask them if they powdercoat. They'll refer you to other places that do. I would try locally though. S&H will be killer for a valve cover or rims (like I'm planning).

You are better off finding a place that specifically does engine parts because the taping off the threaded areas, backside, etc. is critical and they need to know what they are doing.

the taping off the threaded area was relatively easy, my friend and I did it...though he is VERY mechanically inclined...test scores prove it hehe

gonna paint the plastice cover white and then try to find a blue paint marker and do the letters blue. Now that i have the intake in im gonna put on my white hose kit i order 100 yrs ago lol. Its comin together though. Thx again
