I have a auto ex and it takes soooooo.....long to get it over 100mph I mash the gas to floor but it just does not wanna pick up plus I have a injen cai skunk2 catback is this normal wtf?

I CAN get it over 100 but no point in doing that...but it the lag shouldn't be very bad over 100....once you are trying to get over 110 then its real slow

At around 95mph it just slows way down am I doing somthing wrong?Do I need to have my car looked at?I work nights and ride the freeway home every night so I see how high I can get it the gas is always all the way down with no gain in speed.

Yeah ya know what I found that out myself. Doin highway driving I'd floor it and had trouble gettin up anywhere over 95 or so. But then I figured why the hell do I wanna go over 100 anyway besides wanting a massive ticket.

i have a stick but there should not be a whole big differnace in going to 100 make sure your ride is operating okay

the fastest i gone with my civic was 170km/h (i live in canada)
but it didnt feel like it want to go any further so i slow down...i dont know what is the max limit of my car

last time i checked maximum speed limit in pa was 65 so im pretty sure it cant be too much higher anywhere else, why are you trying to go over 100?

Not smart to go that fast in a stock civic especially on public roads... keep in mind if a cop pulls you over for doing 100+ your butt could easily be in jail for the night.

You guys that are going this fast need to remember that cop cars are faster than civics. Plus it's really stupid to go that fast on a public road anyway. I almost killed myself in my 300ZX a couple years back 'cuz I was going 110 and out of nowhere another car pulled onto the road I was on. Needless to say I will never drive that fast again.

I have the same problem. I have an ex auto. But then again, I have never seriously tried to go that fast. I'm too scared I'm gonna get pulled or hit someone.
