Saving now is about the best advise I could give you younger folks.
right so you save up for an wrx, which cost at least a good 10 gs more than the ex vic from 2001. and you have to wait to save up. while you are waiting and finally get that subaru, ill have that 10 gs earned and spent under the hood of my ex, and you will get roasted...by a civic. (i.e. swap + new internals + n2o) i think the fun of modding a car as opposed to just buying a fast one is that you have fun modding it. plus if you are going for performance, you get to smoke fast cars when your modding is complete (all of it).

a wrx is a very good choice, but i'm really thinking about opening an account with that ing direct. i've seen ing ads before and wondered, and now i finally know. thanks family man. if i put $100 a month into a 5 year 5% cd, i'll end up with nearly $7000. and i can always put in more and end up with even more money. i think i'll open an account there after i read more details.
thanks again family man.

Sounds like a good plan. You can't go wrong with a WRX.
By the time you save up, you can get a really great price on a used WRX. If I was you though, I would save for the STi, but if you were going to spend that much money, I would go with the Nissan 350Z.
At that price range (under 26,000) you aren't going to get a faster car then the 350Z.

Yeah the WRX is a sweet ride, I have thought about getting it also yeah my last mod on this civic will probably be a set of rims that I can transfer to my new ride when I get one in the next year or so probably the new Accord V6 Coupe Manual. But its a good plan on saving for a faster ride.
