i read the thread. it was a NX 150 wet shot. the guy driving it on the dyno apparently hit the switch too soon (under 3000k, not WOT) and while the car was bogging a bit. so i guess they said the fuel puddled and KABOOM!

Thats what happens when Nitrous and fuel puddle in the intake manifold. The only thing I can think of that may have happened is the guy running the car started full throttle at too low rpm causing fuel to puddle in the intake. Just my guess though. That really sucks though, intake maifolds are not cheap for Cobra's.
