96' Civic LX, Get a tach or an EX dash?

I want to get a tachometer for my civic should I either buy an "external" tach, or get an EX dash from a scrap yard and swap dashes so I can have the tach all nice and neat in the dash?

We got a little forum set up for us older gens - might want to post there! But IMO, I'd get the external - only because if you swap the gauges, your odometer will be off...I have a 97 DX and I thought about swapping too, but I don't want the odometer readings to be off at all - besides, it's a DX, you really don't need one
