when the thread title is "Tired of vandals and thieves... " and the maker of the thread says "I have had enough of vandals and thieves. It seems like you can not own anything nice because it might spark some anger, jealousy, or stupidity on some other human being to do things like this:

1. Stolen and chopped 01 Civic.
2. Smashed out drivers window.
3. And my newest addition to the fun filled life of criminals is to
have my S involuntarily debadged.
4. Next...???

All of this within the past six months."

I dont think hes "fixing up" his car

Well, maybe they don't want a stock tape player(?) that won't fit in any other car. That is a stock tape player isn't it?

[hr]I am beginning to question the wisdom of getting LoJack...[hr]
The key to Lojack is to the time in between the jacking and when you finally find out it's gone. If it's not too long, then you may be able to get your car back intact. It may be worth it if you've spent a lot of time and effort fixing up your car... 2 things that insurance can't replace.

Neo: which city does this guy live in?

If I got an RSX-s I know I would be worried about sticky fingers around my badge. It seems to me that alot of cheap bastards would love to turn their base RSX into a S with a few minutes work. The thing that is annoying is that they could just go to the dealship and probably buy that badge for like $10. I would probably remove it myself because I know I would give it alot more TLC than some theif with a pocketknife.

That is just crazy, they took just about everything, I must say they did one hell of a job getting the engine out, looks like pros to me.
I guess the only good thing left if the frame, it would make for a nice platform for a custom car though.

An alarm is really a stupid investment....If a thief wants your car, no alarm will stop them. There is a way around every type of alarm, even lojack.

alarm is a good investment if you have other theft deterret stuff for instance... i add a 3 hundred dollar alarm system that has dual shock sensors, kill switch, ect.....,and a pager so it warns u when some one goes near it... on top of that i installed the clifford proximity snesor so it warn people when they look inside the car or even slightly touch it.... next i installed steal hood locks so that they have a hard time poping my hood to cut my alarm... also i installed a back up alarm just incase they cut my wire and a blow horn under the car, also i bought the club and the Auto pro lock, man this is a good investment, its gonna take forever to get the auto pro lock out of the car... also have 3 different types of wheel locks and a tilt sensor just incase they raise up my car..... all this can save ur car hehe....

Like wooo that car has it all, Yeah I have the auto lock on my clutch and I have the club I use also in some areas. So I mean they would have to have a truck to pull my car onto and take some where but I have full coverage so its all good.
